MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). How Safe It Is?
It is almost over 7 years when I entered that MRI scanning room for my left knee. It was a ligament injury and cant be diagnosed without MRI scan. There was this guy who shouted from behind while entering the exam room. The rudeness in his voice was at highest. "Didn't I mentioned you to remove that metallic support from your leg?". "Yes but I am unable to walk without that support", I replied. “Please remove that and ask your friend your friend to help you get to the room.”, he said. Everything was done perfectly but that rudeness was still pinching me hard. I tried asking that person, “What’s the matter?”. He never replied. Then after doing online research, I get to know that how dangerous is carrying any metallic thing in MRI room. This machine operates on very powerful magnetic waves.
